Arabella Advisors seeks a dynamic, experienced professional to provide services to two public charities managed by Arabella. The Associate Director will manage a diverse client and project portfolio, as well as work closely with our philanthropic partners to help our projects execute their visions. This opportunity is excellent for someone interested in supporting and leading innovative social sector projects.

Essential Responsibilities
Serve as a relationship and project manager for a portfolio of grant execution and fiscal sponsorship projects, including grants and contracts management, donor management, finance and compliance, and human resources.
Act as primary liaison with philanthropic partners to develop, structure and maximize the impact of public interest programs
Support new business development by meeting with potential clients, evaluating projects, and developing collateral, proposals and budgets
Make substantial contributions to operational and procedural innovations

Other Responsibilities
Develop new services and processes based on donor and client needs
Review and remain up-to-date about relevant emerging and critical philanthropic trends


Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Bachelors degree
At least five years of work experience with steadily increasing responsibility
Experience in philanthropy, nonprofit management and/or business
Ability to manage and lead complex projects, to oversee and delegate to others on the team, and to meet deadlines
Personal presence and intellectual heft needed to work effectively with sophisticated and demanding partners
Strong entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness that spurs innovation and problem solving
Excellent written and oral communication skills


Valued and Non-Essential Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Graduate degree in a relevant field (business, public policy, etc.) or related experience
